Partner of the Year:
The Partner of the Year exemplifies the true meaning of partnership, demonstrating the highest levels technology innovation, driving growth and evangelism within its customers' industry and participating highly within the Progress community. The recipients of this year's Partner of the Year Award were: Digital Technology, Inc. (DTI), a leading provider of technical innovation and business success for every aspect of digital and print publishing industry, for the Americas-region. For the EMEA region, the winner was proAlpha Software AG, an innovative leading ERP software provider for the German middle market.
SaaS Excellence Award
The SaaS Excellence Award honors those whose participation in SaaS enablement programs have resulted in highly innovative offerings that achieve impressive commercial success within their markets. Two partners were recognized this year for not only their offerings but also for their contributions to the larger SaaS enablement effort. The recipients were International Financial Data Services (IFDS), Canada's premier global service provider of business solutions to the investment fund industry and Distribution Management Systems, Inc. (DMSi), the building product distribution industry's leading business management & accounting software and technology provider.
Business Focus Award
The Business Focus award recognizes companies that demonstrate foresight and an understanding of current and future market opportunities in their respective business, in addition to having clearly defined business and pricing models. The recipients of this year's Business Focus Award were Strategic Information Technology Ltd., a solution provider of real-time banking software for banks, trust companies, credit unions and building societies, along with Radius Solutionsa leader in ERP systems for packaging and printing companies worldwide
Visionary Award
The winner for this year's Visionary Award was presented to Van Meijel Automatisering. Van Meijel Automatisering is a product and service provider to the construction, building and infrastructure industry. The Visionary Award recognizes those partners, who have uniquely used Progress technology in an innovative manner to meet a specific market need.
Partner Collaboration Award
The recipient of the Partner Collaboration Award is Skyward, a leader in Student, Administration, Curriculum and Finance Software for K-12 Schools. The Partner Collaboration Award honors the Application Partner who participated in the most successfully brokered deals and illustrated the benefit of partner collaboration and cooperation within the partner community, and collaborated with Progress to help educate and facilitate technology enablement in the Progress Partner community.
Fastest Growing Partner Award
The Fastest Growing Partner Award for 2009 was presented to Health Informatics Intl (HII). HII is a recognized industry leader in clinical and financial systems as well as managed services in healthcare solutions software for chronic kidney disease, end stage renal dialysis and chronic disease management. The Fastest Growing Partner award recognizes the Application Partner who achieved the greatest year-over-year growth with sales driving 60%-70% of total revenue growth.
