The new release leverages open development standards, further improves its patented continuous availability architecture, and better supports lightweight deployments in addition to multi-site, high-transaction environments.
A major highlight of the Sonic ESB 8.0 product release is its support for a RESTful (Representation State Transfer) architectural approach to integration. RESTful Web Services simplify integration with portals, mash-ups, mobile devices, and any web-based application and have become an important architectural direction for many companies supporting lightweight deployments.
