With this new functionality, Progress enables full life-cycle data encryption that, for example, complies with the latest Payment Card Industry (PCI) regulations, an important requisite for the ongoing expansion of Cloud Computing.

It uses industry-standard encryption libraries and adheres to payment card industry data security standards, which are important for every company that processes, stores, or transmits credit card information, or any company with a Merchant ID.
