The DataXtend SI product enables the meaningful exchange of information between applications and services within a messaging and service-oriented architecture (SOA). Using the unique exchange modeling technology of the DataXtend SI product, enterprises can create a data interoperability layer that provides mediation among the different logical and physical models of their applications and services. Unlike other approaches, the exchange model provides the means to manage mediations in dynamic environments, enabling enterprises to quickly adapt to and implement change, and minimize the risk of introducing problems into the production arena.

The multi-stream collaboration makes use of an advanced three-way comparison technique that enables higher levels of productivity for project teams working on multiple concurrent versions of a project. For instance, a situation when the current version of a project is deployed, the next version is in test, and the version after that is in development.
Version 8.4 of the DataXtend SI product expands support for creating and maintaining abstract service interfaces based on a common information model. This allows architects to further leverage their logical data modeling investment in their SOA environment by generating service interface definitions that are well aligned to the logical model used for mediation.
“Our customers have told us that they need to reduce the risk of
deploying incomplete or broken data exchanges into their
business-critical production environments. A data interoperability layer
in their enterprise architecture is the way to do that,” said
